Requirements
You must meet all listed requirements before applying.
Must be a minimum 21 years of age and a United States citizen.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED (If GED, then 12 college hours).
Must not have been convicted of a Class B Misdemeanor in past ten years or ever been convicted of a Class A Misdemeanor or Felony.
Must not have any LSD usage in one’s lifetime.
Non-certified applicants must be able to pass the police academy and state licensing test(s).
Must meet and maintain all regulatory requirements for Texas Peace Officer License.
Must pass a drug screening, polygraph, psychological, physical assessment and post-offer medical exam.
Must possess State of Texas Drivers License at the time of employment. If not currently a resident of Texas, you must obtain your Texas Drivers License upon employment by the City of Frisco.

For Police Officer positions, applications will be accepted at anytime. After your application has been submitted, you must download and complete the Preliminary Interview Form. After you completed this form, submit (mail or drop off) it to the Frisco Police Department Personnel and Training Division. Further instructions are given after the online application is completed. If you are invited to take the test, you will be contacted by background investigator. If you drop off the PIF at the Police Department, it is open Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm. Please give the form to the officer at the front desk.
